Visiting nature reserves is not my idea of fun – or at least it wasn’t until I saw 100’s of elephants roaming free in a park in Sri Lanka. OK there were also 100’s of tourists (including, it has to be said, me) frantically chasing them with cameras – but it was still awe inspiring.
